Rough Country's Forged Upper Control Arms feature a solid, 1-piece design made of forged aluminum for superior strength and durability. This forged design outperforms all other types of arm construction, with no welding weak spots that could bend or break. High Strength Ball Joints. Rough Country's Forged Upper Control Arms use POM ball joints which reduces metal-to-metal contact for less maintenance and longer service life versus standard or OE replacements. These Ball joints feature a POM ball race for an extremely low co-efficient of friction and an oversize ball diameter reduces load and improves range of motion in a fully greaseable design. Rough Country's Forged Upper Control Arms also feature durable rubber bushings rubber bushings for superior quality and durability. Installation. Featuring a 100% bolt-on installation process, an estimated timeframe of 3-4 hours is recommended to complete this full installation.
